For over 46 years, we have provided developmentally appropriate early childhood education in a nurturing environment for young scholars. We offer a range of programs for students, both full-time and part-time. Additionally, we offer before and after care programs, enrichment programs, and summer and holiday camps. About
Welcome! Established in 1965, Geneva Day School is a non-denominational private Preschool and Kindergarten program serving children from two years old through the Kindergarten level. We provide half-day and full-day educational programs, with optional extended morning and afternoon care, lunch and enrichment classes. Daily class operations are the responsibility of a degreed classroom teachers, who supervise and direct the activities of teaching assistants, all of whom hold at least 90 hours in Early Childhood Education Training as required by law. We are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care. We are conveniently located in Potomac, Maryland, just a half mile from the Montrose Road exit off I-270, on Seven Locks Road. Geneva Day School offers different classes for young learners, either full or part time, to accommodate the needs of families. Music and art are special weekly events, with Extended Care, Enrichment Classes, a Lunch Program, and Mother’s Day Out also available.

Dear Prospective Family, Thank you for your interest in Geneva Day School! We are delighted you are taking the time to visit our website and to find out who we are. The application process is simple. First, however, we recommend that you visit the Programs page to see the kinds of programs we offer children from two years through Kindergarten. We have a variety of half- and full-day programs to meet your child’s developmental needs. We also offer lunch and enrichment classes to round out and extend your child’s day. Once you have reviewed our information and have identified classes of interest, please call us at 301.340.7704 to schedule an personal tour. You may bring your child with you. The final step is to submit an Application Form to us. Please click on the icon to print it out. You will find our tuition fees for different programs on the Application Form. At Geneva Day School, life outside the classroom is enriched by School traditions and community events sponsored by both the Geneva Parent Association and the School. The Ice Cream Social kicks off the new school year, giving new and returning families a chance to meet and catch up with one another. From the morning coffees for parents the first week of school, to the end-of-the-year School Picnic, and all the community events in between, Geneva is a welcoming environment for all. We value parents and invite them to visit the School and participate in all events. They have many opportunities to volunteer in classes, on fieldtrips and for special concerts or shows. Parents can become Room Parents and help organize class parties or become a Geneva Parent Association Representative and disseminate information about future activities to other Geneva families. For all, the Geneva experience starts the day you send your child to preschool for the first time. Your child meets their first teacher and first school friends. As a parent, you too gain a whole new circle of relationships. But the Geneva experience goes beyond this. It develops as you extend a play date to another child from class or when you volunteer…
