2-Day 2s Classes
2 half days per week*
Children two years of age have the opportunity to attend classes either two or three half days a week.*+ Classes provide a nurturing environment for the child’s first school experience. Goals of the program are to promote independence and self-esteem, social skills, language, refinement of both fine and gross motor skills, and ignite a love for learning.
Classes begin with a free-choice period, during which time children are also encouraged to participate in an art project or a cognitive learning project. Children have circle time for a lesson or story, enjoy a snack, spend time on the playground, and attend music/movement classes. All hands-on and multi-sensory experiences are tailored to the developmental level of two-year-old children who learn while having fun.
*We are happy to customize a combination of programs to meet the needs of your child and family.
+We are considering offering a full-day program for two-year-olds that would include an afternoon nap. If you might be interested in this, please contact our Office as soon as possible.
