Enrichment Classes

Enrichment Brochure Spring 2017

A variety of exciting and engaging after-school enrichment classes are offered each semester to supplement the learning of students.  Sessions begin at 12:15 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.  Offerings may include ballet, cooking, puppetry, piano, languages (such as Chinese, Farsi or Spanish), gymnastics and other sports.

Geneva Day School’s enrichment classes are limited to those children ages three through Kindergarten, who are already potty-trained.

in a variety of fun and exciting classes. The Enrichment Program staff consists of Geneva Day School teachers and enrichment professionals who have dedicated themselves to the nurturing and education of young children.

General Information

Registration for enrichment classes will begin upon receipt of this brochure and should be sent to the School Office. Please make checks payable to “Geneva Day School.” All classes are taught at Geneva Day School. You will be contacted by telephone if we are unable to place your child in a class. Geneva Day School reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. No refunds will be issued after the start of the first class. If Geneva Day School is closed, no enrichment classes will be held. If Montgomery County Public Schools are closed due to weather, or schools close early, no enrichment classes will be held. We will make every effort to make up cancelled classes.

Pick-up Information

If your child’s enrichment class is held outside on the field or downstairs in one of the classrooms, you can pick up your child at the end of the class on the field or in the School lobby. Outside carpool will not be available, however, carpool numbers must be presented to the enrichment teacher before your child can be released.

If your child’s enrichment class is held upstairs in the Founders’ Room, you can pick up our child at the end of the class upstairs at the church doors. The enrichment teacher will open the doors when class is finished and you may enter to help collect items for departure. For safety reasons, these doors are not left open. Parents may park outside the doors and wait for the class to conclude. Carpool will not be available, however, carpool numbers must be presented to the enrichment teacher before your child can be released.


4s Enrichment Program

This special enrichment program has been designed specifically for 4-year-olds who will be enrolling in Kindergarten next year. The 4s Enrichment Program will build on and expand reading, math and writing skills that are being taught in the classrooms. The program will utilize The Whole Language Approach, using early reading books, math manipulatives, and literacy/math centers. Games, art, cooking, music and movement will also be incorporated into the program to expand on these skills as well.
